I took over the Instagram account for NRF’s @this_is_retail handle in August 2014. For 4 days I art directed, copywriter’d, produced, shot, and edited photos for immediate posting, and extension content for later in the year.
I created 15 posts over 4 days time, averaging 10 new followers per day.
I leveraged what retailers had on hand – in stores and at HQ locations – to develop NRF’s brand image, which supports the exciting, diverse industry that is retail.
In between crafting tableaus out of french fries, yarn, and paper… snapping photos on my Samsung Galaxy 5 and Mark III… I helped our Exec. Producer film interviews with the likes of the CEO & CMO of the Jifiti app, Wendy’s HQs team, Barnes & Noble’s OSU student employees, Joann Fabric’s inspiration managers, Macy’s store design team, Kroger’s QueVision experts, and many more.
